Why innovation should become a sign for European identity?
Reformulating the “triple helix” to include society leads us toward a broader concept of science and technology that brings together all the elements that provide added value and on which the progress of a knowledge-based European society should rest. Europe has the opportunity to gain competitiveness through research and innovation, but always for the benefit of society. In short, Europe has the opportunity to democratize the “triple helix.”
